Abacus Pre School is owned and managed by Nicky Pontin and Jayne Baggott. Both hold a N.V.Q level 5 qualification in management and a N.V.Q level 4 qualification in childcare, learning and development.
All staff have a relevant qualification in childcare and each setting has a designated member of staff appointed as a Special educational needs co- ordinator (SENCO), to ensure all children with additional needs are planned for effectively and are able to enjoy and achieve in their play The pre-school works to the requirements of the 1993 Education Act and The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2014).
Each setting has a minimum of 2 staff per site that hold a relevant qualification in Paediatric First Aid.
